Dear Robinson Pauley Aldridge Family,

On behalf of the Baltimore RPA Committee, it is with heartfelt joy and pride that we welcome you to Baltimore, Maryland, for the 50th Anniversary of the Robinson Pauley Aldridge Family Reunion! This golden milestone marks half a century of love, legacy, and connection—a powerful testament to the strength and resilience of our family.  With that said, our theme this year is Taking it Old School" 

Nestled on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, Baltimore is a city of rich heritage, deep roots, and vibrant culture. Known affectionately as "Charm City," Baltimore has played an instrumental role in African American history and continues to be a symbol of progress, pride, and perseverance.

Here are just a few reasons why Baltimore is the perfect setting to celebrate our 50th family reunion:

A City of Firsts and Freedom Fighters:
Baltimore is the birthplace of Thurgood Marshall, the first African American Supreme Court Justice, and home to the legacy of Frederick Douglass, a leader of the abolitionist movement. The city’s Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture and the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park offer moving tributes to the struggle and triumph of our ancestors.

Harbor Views and Historic Vibes:
From the bustling Inner Harbor to the historic neighborhoods of Fells Point and Mount Vernon, Baltimore invites you to explore its scenic waterfront, charming cobblestone streets, and cultural landmarks. Take a stroll, ride a water taxi, or enjoy live music with family as we soak in the sights together.

Homegrown Pride:
Baltimore has a vibrant African American arts, music, and culinary scene. From the soulful sounds of local musicians to the flavors of iconic dishes like crab cakes and Old Bay everything, this city knows how to feed the body and the soul.

Educational Powerhouses:
The city is also home to esteemed institutions like Morgan State University and Coppin State University, both HBCUs that have long fostered Black excellence and leadership.

This reunion is more than just a gathering—it is a celebration of 50 years of unity, love, and legacy. As we honor the past, cherish the present, and prepare for the future, let’s take this opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and the bonds that continue to hold us together.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or the fiftieth, this golden anniversary promises to be a time of joy, remembrance, and reconnection. Let Baltimore’s spirit and the heartbeat of our family remind us of the greatness from which we come.

Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 

• 10 am  - 3 pm  - National Museum of African American History & Culture

                     - The $25.00 fee for bus transportation and free museum admission

                     - Location: 1400 Constitution Ave NW, Washington, DC 20560

• This is not a part of the reunion and are an additional cost. 

Friday, July 3rd, 2026 

•  3:30 pm - Registration Begins at Centennial Park
• 4 pm - 8 pm  - Fish fry (meet and greet) at Centennial Park 
• 10 pm  - 12 am - Midnight Bowling at Dave & Buster's Hanover-Arundel

                    -  The $25.00 fee  inludes shoe rental, food, drinks, and bowling for 2 hours

                    - Location: 7000 Arundel Mills Cir, Hanvover, MA 21076

                    - This is not a part of the reunion and are an additional cost.

Saturday, July 4th, 2026 

• 12 pm - 7 pm  - Cookout at Centennial Park

                     - Enjoy the slip 'n slide, ring toss, tug of war, baseball, and more

                     - Kick back with the classics such as cards, Dominoes, and Bingo. 

                     - RPA T-shirt Fashion Show: To Model, bring your favorite RPA T-shirt

• 5 pm - 7 pm  - Family meeting 

Sunday, July 5th, 2026 

• 7 pm - 11 pm - Banquet at the hotel

                   - Golden Gala: Wear your best formal "Gold and Black" attire

                   - 70s Fashion Show: To model, bring your best 70's outfit
